I agree with your article, especially the part about being at the mercy of our foreign creditors. Militarily, I can never see our country having an issue with a foreign power. However, we are continuing to issue more debt to China. We have become very friendly with them in doing so. China is still not a country we can fully trust. Although our military is second to none, we could be in major trouble due to our illustrious spending habits. A creditor has a major hold on a debtor. I think it is very dangerous to put this much power in the hands of a Communist country that traditionally we have not been on good terms with.
